equipoise - Does the Sitting vs Lying V Stretch have any differences in effect?
on Jun 28, 2011 -
StudioVeena - while they both stretch the same muscle group, with the lying V you have the aid of gravity to help pull the legs open. For beginners this can be too intense, so the sitting V is a better option until they become more flexible. :) If the stretch is not too uncomfortable then go with it :)

Finreah - I've noticed that before all the stretch lessons you have the foam roller, do you need to roll before you do each stretch or can you roll once and work on several stretches?

StudioVeena - I like to foam roll right before a specific stretch so the muscle has just been worked. :) So that would be my suggestion, but there is no reason that you can't try it another way too :)

Amiloo - Hi Veena, What do you mean by turning your knees into the body? I get the turning them down to the floor do you just mean the opposite direction?
