mandy03121982 - Hi Veena,
I'm not sure to understand what is the difference between the warm up moves in the beginer session and the conditioning session.
Do we have to start everytime by the beginer warm up moves + conditioning ? Or maybe it depends on your level...
Please can you explain how to do it properly ? I'm trying to find a new warm up for my class.
Thanx
Mandy

StudioVeena - The warm up I show in this video are just clips from the Pole Strength routine. Pole strength and conditioning are done for the first 4 weeks...then you move on to the pole moves....but always warm up first. You can use the warm up routine or pole strength routine or do a warm up of your choice.

This video explains more about how to use the lessons.

mandy03121982 - Yes, I'm sorry maybe I posted my question on the wrong lesson. I was just wandering the differences between videos in the begginer session and the conditioning session. Are you combining both of these moves to warm up, or are you using only the begginer to warm up and then another time or after the conditioning sessions.

I think you can combine them but I'd like your advice.
Because at the end it seems there are both strength exercices.

I'm sorry it's because I'm not english than I'm not sure of the terms, I don't want to misunderstand something.

THX Veena.

StudioVeena - You can combine them if you want. The conditioning lessons focus on smaller muscle groups and do not use a pole.

The Pole Strength Lessons focus on the larger muscles and use a pole :)

LindaS - All wright!!! After 3 weeks of exercising alone, it was about time to start all over from the beginning! I think I am still at the small muscle group as you explain above, although I did some strengthen and stretching and cardio exercise by myself :) I am so happy that my body guides me to the next step! But I need some expert advise and tips to help me more :)) And I am so very happy to find these lessons! Thank you Veena!

reesecup0713 - Hi Veena! I just started with this yesterday! How long of a workout do you think I should do everyday? A few pole strength videos and a few conditioning? This site is GREAT!
Thanks,
A

StudioVeena - @ reesecup remember you need a day of rest in between your workouts. Practicing for an hour is a good start. Start with the pole strength and end with one section of the conditioning lessons. For example: try performing all of the forearm/wrist/hand conditioning exercises at the end of your pole strength session...then the on your next workout day perform all of the shoulder conditioning exercises instead at the end of your pole strength session :) Do this for two weeks then move on to pole work :) adding in strength and conditioning when you feel you need it.

StudioVeena - Did you purchase them? If so then please use the contact us to send an email discribing the problem so we can help you.

Akasha Fox - This is amazing advise. I really wish more pole dance studios would talk to their students about this before begging pole. A lot of them end up hurting their students by pushing them too far too fast.

journey2me - I am new to this! I am a plus size female (250lbs) I am so happy that I found this site and subscribed to the lessons. right now I cant lift my feet off the floor. I want to make sure that I am started from square one with the lessions. how many strength training excerises do I perform each workout? after the 4 weeks do I move on to actual moves on the pole? I am hoping by then my feet will move off the floor!
so inspired!

StudioVeena - Hi :) have you watched all of the getting started lessons for each section? If not do that first.! It may answer some of your questions. You can do all of the Pole Strength each time you workout. Just remember that s every other day, not everyday! There are suggestions for sets and reps listed in the discription of each lesson as well :) please let me know if you have any questions

Doctorsbaby - Hi Veena,
I am a little confused and need some help : /
I have the lessons , I got some shoes, and I bought the pole( thx for the no shipping fee deal!) I am staring at the box right now , trying to find the time to set it up and get started . I had been doing treadmill and some weights prior to finding you. I just can't seem to figure out how to put all this information into a weekly routine . Could you possibly give me a beginner schedule? Like Monday pole and stretch Tuesday rest and strength Wednesday pole and condition...at the risk of sounding mentally challenged, I just don't get how and what to do together .😖 Please can you give me a weekly plan to start ?
😁 DB

StudioVeena - First go through and watch each of the "getting started" lessons. There is one for each section. Read the discriptions as well. Once you've done that feel free to send me an email and I can help you figure out a schedule :)

lioness112 - Hi, I really like the look of these lessons and am seriously considering signing up. I have an X-pole but barely use it because the DVDs I have are just move after move, and it seems I need a more class-like environment (but classes are a bit pricey for me right now). I also like step by step choreographies which my DVDs don't have :( These videos might just do the job. My question is, if I sign up, is it possible to download them rather than stream online? My computer is nowhere near my pole (and there's nowhere to put it either!) and I don't have a laptop or smartphone, but if I can download them I can run them on my TV which *is* near the pole. Thanks!
on Nov 10, 2012 -
StudioVeena - I'm sorry that cannot be downloaded. However they do work on most smart phones and iPads. I do have member who have used them even thought their pole was in a different room. If you have a device hooked up to your tv that has Internet access you should be able to wath the lessons there too :) any device you can watch memebers vids on you will be able to watch the lessons on.
