joni1 - Should I have my dominant hand as the elbow grip or the lower grip?

StudioVeena - just like in your caterpillar you want the gripping arm to be on the same side as your hooked/gripping leg. I cover that in the caterpillar lessons I believe so you may want to revisit those. I know some do it opposite I then it can make for more difficult transitions.

DonnaShy - Finally got this move 2 days ago, thought I would never be able to take my body off the pole and just rely on my arms :)

scarletthoney - Veena do you reckon you could do a back bend in this position? I think ive seen it done, but not sure if the position allows us to bring our legs back out of he "C" position. May have to back flip to the floor.... do u know what i mean? I think Im gunna try it.... yikes.

StudioVeena - Do you mean bringing the feet towards your head? If so yes :)
on May 12, 2012 -
scarletthoney - Yep that's what i meant, I tried it and I did it! Yay! Its not perfect but I didnt stack it either so woohoo! :D

Cantetinza17 - Well wha tif you just want to practice the hold? Do you just invert then hook your elbow?
on Sep 5, 2012 -
StudioVeena - It's very difficult to use this hold while staying on or very close to the pole
on Sep 5, 2012 -
Cantetinza17 - O, well, ok then. I guess I need to practice to do the V forearm. :-)
on Sep 5, 2012 -
StudioVeena - The best thing to work on is your catipillar, if you have a strong leg grip then getting the hands into place is easier
on Sep 5, 2012 -
Cantetinza17 - I'll give it a try this weekend
