This is a very impressive looking move! A solid caterpillar is important for a controlled entry to this move.

Straight Edge V (Elbow Grip)

Vegan Pole Owner - This move is very frightening for me! The split grip seems so much more secure and this one feels crazy!

Jodes_86 - OMG after many many attempts I have finally got this :D I never thought I would get there. It definitely helps having a mirror as I didn't realise that I had my legs out too high and my balance was all over the place. Once I brought my legs down; tadah!

StudioVeena - Yay!!

Cheriza - do you use the left or the right forearm for the grip?
on May 8, 2011 -
StudioVeena - I use my left. Be sure that you have an understanding of the Caterpillar before working on this move. This will help you position your legs and arms.

moka77 - Oh no veena been trying this move but it scare me a lot I think I'm gonna lose control any advise. !!!

StudioVeena - never do something you don't feel in control of or ready for. Be sure you continue working on elbow and handstands, these will help tremendously with balance. When doing any balance move be sure to move slow, moving fast will throw you off balance.

XxMyztikxX - i have to practice this one. it seems i can only do it from the elbow grip

TNBrunette007 - When I use the forearm grip I notice that my body is leaned more towards the extended arm verses the elbow grip, is that correct?
on Oct 30, 2011 -
StudioVeena - Fir both grips you should be aiming to hol the body vertical, not leaning one way or another.

Lyme Lyte - Is your stronger arm used for the for upper/forearm grip or is it used for the lower/straight one?
on Apr 4, 2012 -
StudioVeena - You should try it both ways, you never know if the strong arm will work best as the gripper or extended.
