We just got back from the StudioVeena.Com midwest in Eagan, MN. It was alot of fun and completely free of weather emergencies. All you Veeners who were able to make it were great and so hospitable, I mean the food!!!! There was so much of it. Even with the weather our first pole jam was so Awesome!!! Now we have this one to add to the list too.
We also want to thank Teri Dale of Bodyblast Studio for being so accommodating while we were there. With fifteen poles and the freedom to do as we wanted, Veena lead a warmup, taught some moves and then we had alot of fun dancing in a great environment. Check out all the pictures below.

I had the pleasure of sitting down and chatting with StudioVeena members Amber and Amy! Both of these ladies bring amazing beauty and grace to their dancing. Amber is the USPDF West Coast winner, and will be competing in the upcoming USPDF Nationals in March. Amy will also be competing in March in the Amateur division.

StudioVeena.Com is happy to be entering this new year stronger than ever. We believe strongly that pole is one of the greatest forms of expression, forms of exercise and one of the greatest community builders ever. It exists on levels that ranging from the athletic to the artistic and simply can not be put in a box.
While we commonly receive comments thanking us for building this wonderful community, and providing this resource, we want to recognize that it is our members who make us who we are. You, our members, have kept the site positive. You have supported each other on the pole and you have supported each other beyond the pole.

Our regular members may have noticed some changes recently. These changes have come in the form of a new video platform. This new platform allows for larger, higher quality videos. It also includes a new interface that lets you access everything from one screen. It also gets us closer to other changes that will be coming in future. In particular you might notice that by putting both the lessons and user videos into one interface it frees up a menu button at the top of the site, I wonder what we might be putting there…

We wanted to thank everyone who made this trip to the Los Angeles area so great. It was fun to meet all the girls at Oasis Fitness in Woodland Hills and getting to spend some time talking to Kimara and Heidi at X-Pole was great. It’s always so much fun to meet people around the country and sad to leave. We wanted to post a few photos from our trip.
