height adjuster for original X Pole
So my pole has been in storage for a few years now. Tried to put it together from the YouTube instruction manual. But when it’s all set up and the nut is screwed down. It feels like it’s coming unscrewed when I twist it to the right. And I know it’s not supposed to do that. So I’m wondering it the little ring (that the cover hooks into) is facing the wrong way. Should the side with the ridge be facing up?

Your top piece where your adjuster cover “pops” into or as it’s properly called the cover flange should be ridge side facing up.
