I just want to know whats the purpose of having a stage? Is it for people that have a rug? just wondering.

People buy stages for multiple reasons. I myself have a stage and an Xpole. The stage is a great idea if you have carpet, if you plan on performing or like me, if you don't want to hook anything up to your ceiling.

I also do have an Xpole Xpert (my baby!), which doesn't require any screws, so it won't ruin your ceiling. I couldn't put it in the room I wanted though, so I figured the stage was the next best thing and I'm so happy I got it :)

I taught on stage poles because we did not have a ceiling that we could mount poles on.  The studios have stage poles mainly for performances, either at events or things like bridal shows.  I know a few that have stages to be able to go to the park with friends and pole outdoors (or camping).

I do have an Xpert pole. It's in my apartment/dorm. I take it out my bedroom and sometimes put it in the living room. :) my baby too!

Saz123 - I have the R Pole Play & I love it! I goes up anywhere, even in the garden when the suns out. I got it because I live in a cottage with low ceilings & I didn't want to screw anything in into them & I also wanted to be able to move the pole around for a change of scenery from time to time!
